Glover and a young female pal were hit by a jet ski while riding in an inner tube that was being pulled by a pontoon boat on Lake Lanier in Georgia. A jet ski reportedly struck Glover in the head during the tragic accident, knocking him unconscious. Both victims were immediately rushed to Child's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, where Glover was quickly declared brain dead. Glover is the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster. The 11-year-old's father is Ryan Glover, president of Bounce TV and a former Turner Broadcasting executive. Celebrities took to Twitter Saturday to express their condolences to Glover's family. "Sending my prayers & love to the entire family. R.I.P. Kyle Glover," Ludacris wrote. "I am sending out every prayer I got to Tameka, Ryan, Usher and their family," Russell Simmons tweeted. Usher and Foster married in 2007 but later split in 2009. They were in the midst of a lengthy divorce battle when the tragedy occured. The R&B singer, however, has been very supportive of his ex-wife since the accident, even chartering a plane to fly her to the hospital to be by her son's side. "Tameka and Usher don't get along, but in this circumstance Usher is coming to her side," a source told Us Weekly. "Usher practically raised Kyle as his own. He's known him for seven years.
